Dear Tina,

I hope you will accept this letter to try to put us on friendly terms. I apologize for all the problems I caused you. We are now in divorce court and before we open up our financial records to the court and have the D.N.R. and all my creditors find all our assets I hope we can sit with our attorneys and find a reasonable solution. I accept the divorce and I knew it all along that this was the way it would end up. I know you don't love me anymore and I accept that also. After April 15 it was very difficult accepting that but now I do.

We have spent $500,000 on attorneys since 1990 when the landfill closed to avoid finding our assets. If we open up our records and holdings there will be many lawsuits in Michigan and the court could order payments held and possible enjoin you in the lawsuits.

I would like to be on friendly terms after the divorce for Kristin's sake. I don't feel very good about myself after 16 years together ending this way. Please consider this letter and let's not destroy each other financially. We worked since 1981 to get where we are at and I am available to sit down and discuss a settlement with your attorney. I was completely wrong by trying to reconcile.

John
